Knoll FurnitureSince 1938, Knoll has been recognized internationally for creating workplace and residential furnishings that inspire, evolve and endure. Today, our commitment to modern and sustainable design has yielded a unique portfolio of products that respond and adapt to changing needs. We are aligned with the USGBC and can help companies, governments, healthcare organizations and educational institutions achieve LEED in the workplace. The Knoll San Franciso showroom was among the first to achieve LEED Silver certification under the USGBC's Pilot Project for Commercial Interiors v2.1. Since then, four more showrooms have earned certification, the most recent being: Miami - LEED CI Silver, Chicago - LEED CI Gold and Atlanta - LEED CI Gold. The new Dallas showroom is also pending LEED CI Gold. In addition, Knoll is the contract furniture industry's first member of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX®) and is the founding sponsor of the World Monuments Fund Modernism at Risk program. |

Natural Resources Defense CouncilNRDC is the nation's most effective environmental action organization. We use law, science and the support of 1.2 million members and online activists to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things. With the support of our members and online activists, NRDC works to solve the most pressing environmental issues we face today: curbing global warming, getting toxic chemicals out of the environment, moving America beyond oil, reviving our oceans, saving wildlife and wild places, and helping China go green. NRDC's renovation of a 1920s high-rise building in San Francisco received LEED Gold certification without costing more than a traditional renovation. |
